Key Highlights
Embark on an unforgettable high-altitude expedition in Ladakh that takes you off the beaten path to summit two stunning trekking peaks — Kang Yatse II (6,250 m) and Regoni Malari (6,030 m). This multi-pass, twin-summit trek is ideal for experienced trekkers seeking a challenging yet non-technical Himalayan adventure. Starting from the village of Stok, the route winds through remote valleys, dramatic gorges, and colorful mountain ranges, crossing high passes such as Matho La, Shang La, Gyuncho La, Gongmaru La, Lalung La, and Chaksang La. You’ll gradually acclimatize while exploring Ladakh’s most surreal landscapes — from stark high-desert terrain to verdant alpine meadows grazed by yaks and dzos. After reaching the beautiful high pastures of Nimaling, fully acclimatized and mentally prepared, you’ll push for the summit of Kang Yatse II, a rewarding 6,000er offering panoramic views of the Zanskar, Ladakh, and Karakoram ranges. Soon after, you’ll tackle the lesser-known but equally striking Regoni Malari, completing this rare twin-peak adventure. Supported by a full-service trekking crew, this expedition combines summit success, rugged exploration, and a deep connection to Ladakh’s culture and landscape — a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to climb two 6,000 m peaks in one journey.
